You may complain if you believe Merr Digital LTD or CampHQ has not handled personal information in accordance with data-protection law.
How To Complain
Email [email protected] or use the support form with “Privacy / data-protection” selected. Include:
- your name and contact details;
- the event or organisation involved, if applicable;
- what you believe happened and when;
- the outcome you are seeking; and
- whether you are acting for someone else and your authority to do so.
Please do not include unnecessary medical or safeguarding details in the initial complaint.
What Happens Next
- We send an immediate automated acknowledgement for complaints submitted through the privacy support category and will acknowledge every data-protection complaint within 30 days.
- We assess whether Merr Digital LTD or an event organiser controls the information.
- We investigate without undue delay, preserve relevant evidence, and keep you informed where appropriate.
- We communicate the outcome without undue delay and explain any action taken.
If the matter concerns organiser-controlled event information, we may securely refer it to the named organiser and assist its investigation. We will tell you when we do this.
Rights Requests
A complaint may also contain a request to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive personal information. Rights requests have their own statutory response rules and are tracked separately even when submitted in the same message.
